I know you struggle...I know that you sometimes lay in bed, pull the covers up, wrap your arms around your pillow and ask yourself why you're here. I know that you struggle to understand why relationships are so hard, why loving yourself is so hard. I know that sometimes you feel irrelevant and wonder if anyone really cares. I know that you forget to really appreciate how incredible and miraculous your existence really is. It's that awareness of ourselves that can either cause us to rejoice or feel rejected. The turning point in your life comes when you realize that your worth is not based on the value that other people place on you or themselves, but the value that YOU place on yourself. The belief that you have about yourself is the ONLY thing that matters, it's what will decide how you will live your life and how you use it. The more that you tear yourself down, the less you will believe that you matter. The truth is, you've always mattered. You are love, you are a source of love, and your life is a cause for celebration. If you base your opinion and belief about yourself on the experiences that you've had, then you will keep yourself from having the experiences that cause you to believe in what you are capable of. You will miss seeing your potential. You matter. Your happiness matters. Your life matters, it always has, you only need to believe it; and then, what a difference you will make. What a difference you will feel.
