All this time we’ve been trying to figure out the difference between lust and love. Love is when you meet someone and they give you butterflies in your stomach and make your heart race, right? Wrong. That’s a form of lust, however it’s not all bad. Genuine love is felt in our hearts, when you meet someone and the connection you have with another person’s soul. You feel completely safe and fully trust them with your heart. Lust is mainly a physical attraction and the adrenaline that comes from the physical intimacy two people can create, but once that rush of adrenaline has dwindled down over time that feeling of what you think is “love” is no longer there. There are a thousand definitions about love but to simply put it in perspective, love is true and it is not something you will ever have to question. You will know because your heart will tell you, the minute they make your heart feel safe and every doubt you have ever had about anyone that has come and gone in your life suddenly no longer matters. Suddenly you feel at home and they become the safest place to be. There wasn’t a need for anything materialistic because you had them. When you spend your whole life in solitude, as a soul walking in the desert it’s crazy to think a deep connection is whats going to stand strong against the winds, all the hatred and all the evil that resides in this cynical world.
